The Evolution of Holrob Communities
Entering its second decade, Holrob is acknowledged as one of the premier commercial developers in the Southeast. In December of 2006, Bob Talbott extended the Holrob commitment to quality product when he began developing Holrob Communities, a shift in emphasis to residential living across a wide spectrum of tastes and price ranges. Holrob Communities range from sophisticated country to urban high-rise, with homes that enhance lifestyles of all types.
In a May 2006 Business Journal article, Talbott explained a few of the benefits of East Tennessee as a retirement destination: "four seasons, no income tax, mountain and lake views, and land that remains relatively inexpensive." That year The Farm at Tralee piqued considerable interest in Holrob's residential involvement, and the next year Talbott developed Holland Springs, Harrison Woods and Acadia Villas. In 2008, Holrob Communities introduced The Enclave, a luxurious, maintenance-free retreat located in the heart of Knoxville.

He also handled acquisition of office buildings and was involved in the development of apartments, condominiums, subdivisions and an office warehouse. Talbott holds undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Tennessee.
